Minority Report is a 2002 film directed by Stephen Spielberg and starring Tom Cruise as Detective John Anderton.  I think the concept of Minority Report is a valid one and something that can be used in our society effectively. I especially thought the use of the spiders and the iris scanning technology was useful and very, very cool.  Minority Report is a clear indicator of how we can use science and technology effectively to solve some of our violent and criminal activities in the U.S.
